How Tez Rummy Maintains Fairplay?

We at Tez Rummy (“we”, “our”, “us”) want to ensure a fair game for you every time you play with us. We highly value transparency, fairness, and integrity, which is further reflected in our Fairplay Policy (“FP Policy”) and in all aspects of our online gaming services. Capitalised terms in this FP Policy not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Terms of Use.

This FP Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Use that govern the use of Tez Rummy and must be read along with all our rules, regulations and policies (including but not limited to Tez Rummy’s Privacy Policy). We retain the authority to exercise appropriate measures, as determined solely by us, to uphold this FP Policy with respect to all Games conducted on the Platform. Therefore, we strongly advise Users to carefully review this FP Policy prior to participating in any Game on the Platform.

a) Equal Opportunity

Our Games ensure equal opportunities for all our Users. The Game rules and regulations apply to every User equally. We take every measure possible to avoid hacking or cheating on our Platform. Deadlines are put in place for joining each tournament to ensure every User has an equal opportunity at the Game.
All rules, odds, and Game mechanics are made accessible to all Users, ensuring transparency in the gaming process.

b) Playing and Winning

It is important that our Users know upfront what potential winnings they could take home if they win, when they sign up for a Game. We want your experience on the Games to be seamless and have taken the following steps to ensure you enter a tournament with full confidence:

• The scoring system used for calculating points is clearly illustrated and displayed for every new User being onboarded on our Platform.
• The applicable play money for winners of each Game is clearly mentioned. Any winnings/payouts are promptly processed and credited to the User’s Account as per our Terms of Use and other applicable Tez Rummy policies.
• Any cancellation fee, or consequences of leaving the Game mid-way or engaging in unfair gaming practices is also prescribed in this FP Policy and the Terms of Use.

a) Genuine, Verified Users

We strive to ensure that we only have genuine Users playing Tez Rummy. There are no bots allowed on the Platform . To facilitate this, we have put in place appropriate policies and protocols to check any violation of this FP Policy. Before withdrawing any winnings, depending on the amount and/or frequency of the withdrawal, a User may be required to verify the User’s identity, and Account as per our Privacy Policy and other internal policies.
Cashgrail employees are not allowed to participate in the Games hosted on the Platform for the Users.

b) Safety & Security

Payments:We periodically engage independent third-party auditors as per our internal policies to assess the fairness and integrity of our gaming systems.

c) Communication

Keeping in mind the importance of being accessible to our Users, Tez Rummy has built processes where Users can reach out and raise issues on our Helpdesk section. Resolutions to issues raised are provided within timelines prescribed under applicable laws.

a) Responsible Play

Users below 18 years of age, of unsound mind and incompetent to enter into contract are not permitted to access or use the Games provided on the Platform. We do not allow users from certain restricted States to play our Games, as per the prevalent law in such States. The Users are liable to ensure compliance with the applicable laws in their States and Tez Rummy is not liable for any breach of such laws by the User. b) Compliance with Law

Tez Rummy is a skill-based platform that can help gamers improve their strategic prowess, decision making, and time-management skills. Our Games are compliant with all the applicable laws and regulations.

A “Random Number Generator” (RNG) certificate is a sign of approval from a certified RNG testing body, ensuring statistical randomness in the numbers generated by the application elements like the dice etc. These standards establish that the numbers generated are entirely random and unpredictable, thus promoting honest gameplay.

• Tez Rummy is committed to promoting fair play on the Platform. We might track gameplay to enforce our terms and policies, and appropriate action may be taken against any User(s) caught indulging in any form of abuse of policies, and/or collusion. By agreeing to the Terms of Use of this Platform, you agree not to indulge in any unfair game practice that might provide an undue advantage to you or any other User.
• Tez Rummy has automated detection systems to identify fraudulent behaviour in its Games.
• Any User found to be using duplicate Accounts or using another User’s Account for unfair activities, for example, alleged or found adding money or withdrawing from/to an account suspected of being fraudulent, is liable to face legal consequences including, but not limited to, withholding any withdrawal or use of the User’s balance, and locking of the User’s Account.
• A Fair Play violation is defined herein as any activity undertaken by a User that contravenes the terms set forth in this FP Policy. Such activities encompass engaging in:
  1. Actions utilizing unfair methods to manipulate the outcome of a Game on the Platform, regardless of whether these actions provide an advantage to the User employing such methods.
  2. Actions that Tez Rummy, in its sole discretion, deems to be fraudulent, illegal, suspicious or unfair.
  3. Actions solely intended for the transfer of funds from one party to another or between distinct sources, thus constituting a form of financial transfer.
  4. Actions involving collusion between two or more Users to achieve a predetermined outcome during a Game, effectively constituting syndicate play.
  5. Actions falling within the scope of prohibited conduct, as defined in Tez Rummy’s policies. In addition to the definition of prohibited conduct as per Tez Rummy’s policies, for the purpose of the FP Policy, prohibited conduct, includes, and is not limited to conduct outlined in the Section 8 - ‘Creation of Account and use of Platform’, Section 11 - ‘Security’, Section 12 - ‘User Conduct’, Section 14 - ‘Prevention of Collusion and Fraud’, and Section 18 - ‘Disconnection and Technical Issues’ of the Tez Rummy Terms and Conditions. For the purposes of this FP Policy, prohibited conduct also includes, and is not limited to:
     • Uploading content or registering a username on the Platform which is, in any manner, racist, casteist, profane, vulgar, offensive, unlawful, or is offensive to the religious sentiments of other Users;
     • Revealing the Users own personal details such as email address, contact number, or postal address or attempting to find or reveal the personal details of any other User, such as email address or contact number, or postal address;
     • Soliciting or discussing the sale or purchase of cards or chips;
     • Solicitation of any form, by a user by either pestering, spamming, or causing a nuisance of any other kind
• We have advanced algorithms and tracking tools in place to carry out continuous scanning to detect any suspicious activity on the platform.
• We reserve the right to take any necessary action, as we deem fit, against Users who indulge in unfair means and practices. The action could include without limitation, penalties, temporary Account suspension, withdrawal blocking, investigations, permanent Account deactivation, forfeiture of winnings/deposit(s), levy violation fees, freezing funds of colluding Users etc. If you suspect any User of colluding in any Game or involved in unfair practices, you can write to us at support@tezrummy.in.
• Please note that we can terminate or suspend your Account and all associated Accounts, institute fraud prevention measures such as access restrictions, transaction velocity restrictions etc. without prior notice to prevent unauthorised use of your Accounts. You must cooperate with us in any investigation and use any fraud prevention measures we prescribe, and you agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party for any block, suspension, cancellations, or termination of your use of an Account owing to such measures.
• For the purpose of this FP Policy, a “Genuinely Affected User”, shall mean a User who has faced direct monetary impact during a Game due to another User engaging in prohibited conduct. A Genuinely Affected User may be eligible for a refund of their entry fee, after review and confirmation by Tez Rummy, and at the sole discretion of Tez Rummy for the affected Game. Any such refund will be in accordance with Tez Rummy’s rules, regulations, terms of use, and policies, including but not limited to those related to section K. ‘Payment terms’ and Q. ‘Disconnection and Technical Issues’. The entry fee of a User engaging in prohibited conduct will be forfeited, and a penalty may be levied on such Users, in accordance with Tez Rummy’s Terms of Use.
